I am a Certified Medical Meditation and Stress Management Consultant and hold additional certificates in Grief Counseling and Reiki II. My training Includes: Mindfulness & Acceptance Based Behavioral Therapies specializing in Heart-Centered Counseling and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT).
I draw upon over 25 years of training and professional experience as well as my own personal healing to help women find their inner calm. I provide safe, non-judgmental, compassionate support for women to share their truth, heal their hearts and be at peace with who they are.
Why I do this Work
I was always very hard on myself. Self-doubt and anxiety interfered with most of my daily experiences.
At age 21, I experienced my first panic attack. I truly thought I was going to die while driving over a bridge with heavy traffic on both sides of me. I couldn’t breathe, my heart was pounding and my palms were sweating profusely. Somehow, I managed to make it home to tell my mother what happened. Because she also suffered with panic attacks when she was younger, she knew how to help me.
My mother encouraged me to drive over the bridge again the next day. As scary as that was to do, I learned an important lesson from taking her advice;
Our fears and thoughts can’t hurt us. But our fears and thoughts can tell us some pretty convincing lies. When we believe those lies, we create within us; anxiety, panic, depression and self-doubt. Over time, we become enslaved by the unhelpful dialogue in our head and we become stuck and unfulfilled.
But imagine being free from those lying voices in your head that are saying you’re not good enough. Or those thoughts that terrify you with worries and “what if’s”.
Imagine moving towards the life you want with a greater sense of purpose, peace and inner calm. You may ask; Is it really possible to live my life based on my truest desires rather than on my fears? Yes it is. How do I know? I am living proof.
One of my greatest passions is helping you to see what an amazing person you are and that you are capable of way more than you ever thought possible.
My greatest honor is to show you that it is possible to set yourself free and become all that you were meant to be.
